About Wes

I’ve lived a life full throttle — from combat zones to ultramarathons, from addiction to sobriety, and now into the uncharted terrain of Lewy Body Dementia. I’m a U.S. Air Force Special Warfare veteran with over ten deployments under my belt, a runner who finds peace on hundred-mile trails, and a writer who started my debut novel in a warzone and finished it decades later with a clear-eyed urgency that only life’s toughest battles can bring.
I write fiction rooted in raw truth — stories that pulse with grit, dark humor, and the kind of clarity that only comes after walking through hell and making it back with a pen in hand. My upcoming novel, Tumblin Dice, is a dive into chaos, memory, and redemption — told with the rhythm of a runner and the edge of a warrior.
Now, I live with my fiancée Elise (we met hiking the Appalachian Trail), train for ultramarathons, and keep showing up every damn day. This isn’t the end of the story — it’s just the next chapter.
